description
BICYCLE TRANSPORT CONTAINER AND BICYCLE FIXING ELEMENT
The invention relates to bicycle transport container and a Fahrradfixierelement.
A transport carton for bicycles is known from EP 1 849 717. The bicycle transport carton described herein has a cuboidal outer carton. In the outer carton, a Rahmenfixierelement is arranged, which extends over the entire catches of the carton and rests on the underside of the carton. The Rahmenfixierelement has two cross-sectionally V-shaped web elements, each having a bottom bracket recess for forming a bottom bracket. In the Rahmenfixierelement thus the bicycle frame can be inserted from above, so that the bicycle frame is held on the bottom bracket in the bottom bracket. Furthermore, from EP 1 849 717 an impeller carton is known, in each of which an also consisting of cardboard disk-shaped element is arranged on each side of the impeller. The corresponding impeller cartons may be placed in the outer carton of the bicycle transport carton along with the bicycle frame.
The bicycle transport carton described in EP 1 849 717 is particularly suitable for shipping bicycles by parcel delivery services. For cost reasons, the smallest possible outside dimensions are desired here. Furthermore, the transport carton must have a high stability in order to avoid damage to the bicycle frame. The use of the transport carton described in EP 1 849 717 has shown that transport damage sometimes occurs despite the high stability of the carton.
A further developed bicycle transport container is described in EP 2 239 210. This in turn has an outer carton, in which a rear attachment and a fork receptacle is arranged. The rear attachment and the fork seat are arranged on the bottom or the bottom within the transport carton. The bicycle frame is then inserted from above into the rear attachment and the fork mount. In order to use the same outer cards for different frame sizes, the rear end receptacle and / or the fork receptacle on a variable-length spacer. This spacer abuts against an inner side of a side wall of the outer carton. Depending on the length of this spacer element thus adjusting the distance between the rear attachment and the fork receptacle for adaptation to different frame sizes is possible. With such a bicycle box transport damage to the bike can be avoided. It is also possible to select the outer dimensions of this carton in such a way that the belt measure required by parcel delivery services is not exceeded. However, such a bicycle carton has the disadvantage that the customer both the rear wheel and the front wheel must be mounted. Furthermore, there is a risk during packaging that the chain derailleur arranged on the dropout of the rear end is damaged.
The object of the invention is to provide an improved suitable for shipping by parcel delivery services bicycle carton.
The object is achieved by a transport container according to claim 1.
The inventive particular cuboid bicycle transport container, which is in particular a bicycle transport carton made of cardboard, has an outer container, in particular an outer carton. The outer container serves to receive a bicycle, wherein preferably all components of the bicycle can be received by the outer container.
In the first invention relating to the bicycle transport container, a bicycle can be placed in the outer carton with the rear wheel mounted. This has the advantage that when packaging damaging the arranged on a dropout of the rear derailleur is avoided. For this purpose, both a lower rear wheel take-up and an upper rear wheel take-up are arranged inside the outer carton. The lower rear wheel take-up is preferably arranged at the bottom of the outer carton. The upper rear wheel intake is arranged in the packed state of the lower rear wheel opposite.
In a preferred embodiment, a stabilizing element is further provided. This is at least partially disposed between the lower and upper rear suspension receptacle and thus represents a connection between the two rear wheel receivers, which need not be a fixed connection. In particular, the stabilization element at least partially covers at least one of the two rear wheel receivers in side view and / or is inserted into the latter. It is particularly preferred here that the stabilizing element is designed as a small parts container. The stabilization element, in particular designed as a cardboard, thus has a dual function in that, in addition to stabilization, it also serves to accommodate small parts. The small parts are, for example, assembly instructions, pedals, tools and the like. The provision of such a stabilizing element is optional. The provision and arrangement of an upper and a lower rear attachment, in particular in the particular embodiment described below, constitutes an independent invention.
Preferably, the lower and / or the upper rear wheel receiving a side member which abuts in packaged condition on an inner side of a side wall of the outer container. Preference is given here to a flat system. As a result, based on the two rear wheel receivers a defined position within the carton is achieved in the longitudinal direction. It is further preferred that the side member of the lower and / or upper rear wheel receiving has a width which substantially corresponds to the width of the inner side of the inner wall of the outer container. As a result, the lateral position of the lower and / or upper rear wheel receptacle is defined in the outer container.
In a further preferred embodiment, the lower and / or upper rear wheel receiving an outer element. The outer element is in the assembled state at the lower rear wheel receiving preferably on a floor. In an upper rear wheel mount with outer element this is in the assembled state on an inner side of the lid of the outer container. With regard to the outer element, it is again preferred that a planar contact is provided. Preferably, the width of the outer member of the lower and / or upper rear wheel receiving is selected such that it corresponds in width to the inside of the bottom or lid of the outer container. As a result, a lateral guidance is guaranteed.
In a further preferred embodiment of the lower and / or upper rear wheel receiving the side member to the outer member at an angle of 90 °. As a result, it is possible, in particular, for the side element to lie flat against an inner side of the outer container at the same time and for the outer element to bear against an inner side of the bottom or lid of the outer container.
Preferably, the side member is connected to the outer member via a connecting element, wherein it is again preferred that this is the case both in the lower and in the upper rear wheel. The connection is preferably made such that in side view, the side member, the outer member and the connecting element are formed substantially triangular.
Preferably, the connecting element of the lower and / or upper rear wheel receiving a slot for receiving a portion of the rear wheel. The slot width is in this case essentially chosen such that it corresponds to a width of a bicycle sheath.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the lower and / or upper rear wheel receiving the side member and / or the outer member and / or the connecting element outside are preferably made flat on the cardboard. It is particularly preferred that these elements are made of a cardboard element. In this case, it is preferable for the lower and / or upper rear wheel mount to be produced by corresponding cutting and buckling as well as plugging together of a flat cardboard element.
The lower rear wheel and the upper rear intake are formed in a preferred embodiment such that they are identical. Since the two rear wheel receivers are arranged in different positions in the outer carton, the two rear wheel receivers are arranged opposite each other in a packaged bicycle and preferably mirror-symmetrical to the horizontal plane. The identical design of the two rear wheel receivers leads to the reduction of manufacturing costs and simplifies handling, since no confusion of the two recordings is possible during packaging.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, a stabilizing element is provided in addition to the two rear wheel receivers. This is arranged at least partially between the two rear wheel receivers and designed in particular as small parts container. The stabilizing element preferably has a length which is slightly smaller than the inner height of the outer carton. In conjunction with the thickness of the two outer elements of the two rear wheel receivers, this essentially corresponds to the entire inner guide of the outer container. This allows a good stabilization can be achieved.
In a preferred embodiment, the lower and / or upper rear wheel receiving a recess into which protrudes a part of the stabilizing element. In particular, this recess is provided in the connecting element of the lower and / or upper rear wheel intake.
Another embodiment relates to a bicycle transport container, in particular a bicycle transport carton, which in turn has an outer container, in particular an outer carton. This serves to accommodate a bicycle with a preferably mounted stem and mounted front fork. In a preferred development of this bicycle transport container, this is combined with the bicycle transport container described above, so that in the bicycle transport container, a bicycle can be accommodated, in which both the rear wheel and the stem with the front fork are mounted.
The bicycle transport container according to this further embodiment in which at least the stem partially, in particular together with the front fork, is mounted in the frame, has a stem mount on. The stem mount serves to hold the stem in its position in the outer carton. Since the stem is connected to the frame in particular via the steerer tube of the bicycle fork, this also fixes the bicycle frame in this area in the outer carton.
Preferably, the stem mount on the stem at least partially embracing holding element. This holding element may be, for example, a band, a hook and loop fastener and the like. Preferably, the holding element is arranged such that it is at least arranged laterally next to the stem. For example, these are cardboard walls that are at least partially arranged next to the stem. This has the advantage that they can be arranged in packaging in a simple manner in this situation and a firm fixation on the stem, for example by a Velcro tape is not required. This simplifies packaging. Furthermore, it is preferred that the holding part surrounds the stem laterally completely. In particular, the holding element thus has four holding parts, which are designed in particular as walls made of cardboard. These surround the stem frame-shaped or represent side walls of a cuboid. This is preferably open downwards in the direction of the bicycle frame, so that in particular four holding parts having retaining element can be placed from above on the stem.
Furthermore, it is particularly preferred that the stem mount has a position element for the position definition of the stem mount in the outer carton. Here, the layer element is preferably connected to the holding element or may also be integrally formed therewith. The position element may be, for example, bar-shaped projections or the like connected to the holding element. These have a length or outer dimension, so that the layer element is arranged within the outer carton such that the outer sides of the layer element touch the sides of the outer carton. As a result, a particular lateral position definition of the stem mount is given. Especially before given to it is that the layer element has a width which substantially corresponds to the clear width of the outer carton. In particular, the layer element may be made of cardboard, which in a particularly preferred embodiment is a rectangular cardboard board. In this case, the preferably cuboid-shaped holding part is preferably fixed to an underside of this plate. The holding receptacle can therefore be placed for packaging the bicycle in a simple manner from above on the arranged already inside the outer stem, automatically a lateral fixation of the stem is achieved by the holding element and a defined position of the stem receiving due to the position element.
In a further preferred embodiment, an uprising element for a mounted front fork is provided at the bottom of the outer carton. This is in particular a carton made in the outer carton inserted element. However, it may also be a thickening of the outer carton, for example, by appropriate multilayer folding of the outer carton in this area, act. The uprising element has in a preferred embodiment, two recess, wherein in each recess a fork leg or a dropout of the mounted fork is arranged. Such a riot element not only ensures that damaging the dropouts during transport is avoided, but represents due to the arrangement of the fork leg ends in the recesses a lateral positional fixation.
It is particularly preferred to combine the two preceding embodiments relating to the rear wheel as well as the stem and / or fork leg recording. As a result, a bike preassembled in many parts can be arranged within a bicycle transport carton in a very effective manner, the risk of the occurrence of transport damage being considerably reduced.
Another independent embodiment is a fixing for connecting bicycle parts for transport. The fixing is particularly suitable for fixing a front wheel, a handlebar, a saddle and the like on the bicycle frame or on a bicycle fork. Through the fixing a firm connection of the individual bicycle parts. The fixing element has a protective body which is arranged between the bicycle parts to be connected. Furthermore, the fixing element has a connecting element in order to hold the protective body in particular in its position between the two parts to be connected bicycle parts and at the same time to connect the bicycle parts together. As a result, due to the provision of the protective body damage during transport is avoided and ensured due to the provision of the connecting element a secure, firm connection between the bicycle components, so slipping and thereby causing damage is prevented.
The protective body is preferably an elastomeric body. In particular, it is a cuboid body. This has the advantage that the corresponding protected body can be arranged at different locations between bicycle parts to be connected. However, it is also possible to design specially shaped protective body for arrangement in certain positions.
The connecting element is preferably formed band-shaped and / or has a hook and loop fastener and / or the like. In this case, it is particularly preferred for the band-shaped connecting element to have a hook-and-loop fastener, in particular provided on both sides, so that it can be connected in different positions in a simple manner.
Preferably, the protective body has a slot through which the connecting element is passed. In particular, therefore, one end of the connecting element is firmly connected to the protective body, so that, for example, after the two bike parts to be connected, the second end of the connecting element can in turn be connected to the protective body or to the connecting element.
In a preferred embodiment, the protective body has a laterally open recess. This has the advantage that the connecting element can be arranged in a connected position in this recess, so that slippage of the connecting element is avoided during transport.
The fixing element according to the invention has the particular advantage that individual bicycle components can be arranged firmly on the bicycle frame or on the bicycle fork. In particular, it is possible to prepare a bicycle for packaging in order then to arrange it in one of the above-described differently configured transport containers. Here, for example, a front wheel is firmly connected to the bicycle frame by means of the fixing elements described above. The connection with the front wheel can in this case take place in a preferred embodiment such that a Aufstandpunkt the front wheel at the bottom of the bicycle transport container is disposed below an underside of the chainring, so that the chainring is protected during transport against damage.
In a preferred embodiment of a bicycle prepared for packaging, the handlebar is further connected by means of fixing elements described above with the bicycle frame and / or a bicycle fork. This is done in a preferred development as well with the saddle. Furthermore, it is preferred that the bicycle to be packaged is pre-assembled, so that in particular the rear wheel, as well as the fork with the front are already mounted. This has the advantage that the bike can be mounted in a few steps after sending by the customer.
A provided for packaging bike with fixed to the bicycle frame or the bicycle fork components represents a unit. This can be used in a simple way, for example, from above a narrow side in the bicycle transport container, so then the bike only has to be fixed in the transport container and the transport container can then be closed. It is not necessary to fix individual components within the bicycle transport container separately.
The bicycle transport container for a bicycle with mounted rear wheel represents an independent invention. The other components could also be arranged or fixed separately in the carton in this invention. A fixation of the frame in the front region could for example also be done by foam pad and the like. Likewise, the bicycle transport container for transporting a bicycle with preassembled stem and fork is an independent invention. Again, the other components such as front and rear wheel can be arranged separately in the box and fixed in a separate way. The fixation can again be done via foam pad, air foil pad and the like. A third invention provides the provision of fixing elements for connecting bicycle parts for transport.
Particularly preferred is the combination of individual and in particular all of these inventions.
The individual inventions will be explained in more detail below with reference to preferred embodiments.
1 shows a schematic side view of the bicycle transport container with a packed bicycle, the side wall of the outer container not being shown for clarification, FIG. 2 a schematic side view of a rear wheel receiver, FIG a rear wheel receiving in the direction of an arrow III in Figure 2, Figure 4 is a schematic plan view of the rear wheel intake in unfolded

Assistance of the fixing element shown in FIGS. 6 and 7.
FIG. 1 schematically shows a bicycle arranged in a bicycle transport container, such as in a bicycle transport carton 10. Here, the front of the carton is not shown, so that the arrangement of the bicycle within the bicycle transport carton 10 is visible. Within the carton 10, a bicycle frame 12 is disposed with a rear wheel 14 mounted, that is, a scar 16 of the rear wheel 14 is mounted on dropouts of a rear end 18. Furthermore, a bicycle fork 20 and a stem 22 is also already assembled. Not mounted are a handlebar 24, a saddle 26 and a front wheel 28. In the illustrated embodiment, the saddle 26 is connected via a fixing member 30 with the fork 20, in particular on a fork bridge. The saddle 26 may for example also be connected to a seatpost tube 32. This is the case, in particular, when, in a saddle which is adjustable in height by means of a mechanism, a cable is guided out of a seat tube 34 into the seat tube 32. The handlebar 24 is also fixed via a fixing element 30 to an upper tube 36 of the frame. Another fixation can be done for example on a down tube 38.
In the illustrated embodiment, the front wheel is arranged in front of the frame 12. The front wheel is fixed by two fixing elements 30 fixed to the frame. The fixation takes place in the illustrated embodiment, the top tube 36 and a seat post 40 of the rear end 12. An additional or alternative fixation can also be done on a chain stay 42 of the rear end 18 and / or a down tube 44. The fixation of the front wheel 28 on the frame in a preferred embodiment of the invention is such that in the fixed state, a lower point 46 of the front wheel below a chainring 48 is arranged. This ensures that the lower point 46 of the front wheel forms a contact point on an inner side of a bottom 50 of the bicycle carton 10 and due to the fixation of the front wheel 28 on the frame 12, the chainring 48 is kept at a distance to the ground. As a result, damage to the chainring is avoided. An independent invention consists in the fact that a fixing of the front wheel 28 takes place on the frame such that for transport, the lower point 46 of the front wheel is arranged lower than a lower side of the chainring. There is thus a distance between the lowest point 46 of the front wheel and a lower side of the chainring 48.
A further fixation of the bicycle in the transport box 10 via the mounted rear triangle 18 rear wheel 14. For this purpose, within the bicycle carton or outer carton 10, which surrounds the partially preassembled bicycle, a lower rear wheel 52 and an upper rear intake 54 is arranged. The two rear wheel receivers 52, 54 are formed identically in a preferred embodiment. At least partially between the two rear wheel receivers 52, 54, a small parts carton 55 is arranged as a stabilizing element. This is a preferably cuboid-shaped cardboard whose height is slightly less than the height of the outer carton 10. Together with outer elements 56 of the two rear wheel 52, 54, which also have a certain thickness, this corresponds to the total height of the inner height of the carton 10. As a result, a stable, fixed and secure recording of the rear wheel in the outer carton 10 is realized.
Hereinafter, the upper and lower rear attachment 52 and 54 will be described with reference to Figures 2-4, wherein in the illustrated embodiment, the two rear wheel 52, 54 are formed identical.
The rear receptacle has a side member 58, an outer member 60 and a connecting member 62. The receptacle is made from a flat, cut cardboard, as shown in FIG. For packaging the bicycle (Figure 1), the side member 58 of the two rear wheel receivers 52, 54 on an inner side 64 of a side wall 66 of the
Exterior boxes 10 on. In this case, a width A (FIG. 3) corresponds to the inner width of the cardboard 10, so that lateral guidance or fixing is provided.
In the packaged state, the outer member 60 of the lower rear wheel 52 is located on an inner side of the bottom 50 at. Correspondingly, the outer element 60 of the upper rear wheel receiver 54 bears against an inner side of a cover 68. In front view (FIG. 3), the rear wheel receivers 52, 54 have a slot 70. In this, the rear wheel 14 is arranged in the packaged state.
In addition to the slot 70, a recess 72 is provided in the connecting element 62. In this recess, the small parts container 55 is arranged in a packed bicycle. The dimensions of the recess 72 are chosen such that they are slightly smaller than the width of the small parts carton 55. To stabilize the position of the small parts carton 55, a tab 74 is provided, which is pivotable about a bending edge 76 and insofar exerts a certain force in Figure 2 to the right on the small parts carton. As a result, the location of the small parts carton 55 is defined.
The slots 70 for receiving the rear wheel 14 are made in the illustrated embodiment by first two semi-circular openings 78 (Figure 4) are punched out. The two openings 78 are interconnected by a cut 80 in the flat cardboard. This makes it possible to fold down tabs 84 along the bend edges 82. The lugs 84 simultaneously fix the wheel 14 in the two slots 70.
To produce the side view substantially triangular rear wheel 52, 54 (Figure 2) is a flat piece of cardboard, as shown in Figure 4, cropped. In addition to the recesses, cuts and creases described above, the cardboard element has three further creases 86, 87, 88. Further, tabs 90 are arranged in a front side, which can be inserted into recesses 92. By appropriate buckling at the edges 86, 87, 88 and inserting the tabs 90 in the recesses 92, the two rear wheel receivers, which are configured identically in the illustrated embodiment, prepared.
An independent invention, however, which is preferably combined with the invention described with reference to Figures 1-4, provides the provision of a stem mount 92. The stem mount 92 is for packaging the bicycle, as shown in Figure 1, in particular from above the stem 22 attached. The stem mount has a layer element 94 as well as a holding element 96 connected to the layer element 94 in the illustrated embodiment. The layer element 94 is in particular made of cardboard, which is in particular one or more layers of rectangular flat cardboard. On an underside 98 of the position element 94, the holding element 96 is arranged. The fixation is preferably carried out by gluing, wherein it is preferably in the holding member 96 is also made of cardboard element. In particular, the holding element is a kind of box which is open on its underside so that it can be inserted from above via the stem 22, as shown in FIG. The box-shaped retaining element therefore has four side walls 100 in the illustrated embodiment, which are arranged laterally next to the stem 22 in the outer carton 10 arranged in the outer receptacle 10 and surround it. Furthermore, the box-shaped retaining element in the illustrated embodiment, also made of cardboard ceiling element 102. This is connected to the underside 98 of the layer member 94, for example by gluing. The holding element 96 thus has a bottom view 104 with an open opening 104, as shown in FIG.
The holding element 96 is arranged obliquely in a rectangularly formed position element 94, as shown in Figure 5 can be seen. This oblique arrangement corresponds to the position of the backward rotated for packaging with respect to the conventional direction of travel of the bicycle stem (Figure 1).
In the packaged state, the stem mount 92 is arranged an uprising element 106 opposite. The riot element 106 consists in the illustrated embodiment of several cardboard layers and rests on the inside of the bottom 50 of the outer carton 10. In upper layers of the uprising element 106, two recesses 108 are provided. In the recesses 108 one end of a leg 110 is arranged in each case.
It is particularly preferred that the stem mount 92 has a width A, which corresponds to the inner clear width of the outer carton, so that in this way a lateral guidance is ensured. Accordingly, it is also preferred that the uprising element 106 has a corresponding width A.
It is further preferred that for fixing, for example, the front wheel 28 on the frame fixing elements 30 are provided. These have an essentially cuboid protective body 112 (FIG. 6), for example. The protective body 112 is in particular made of foam. In the illustrated embodiment, a band-shaped connecting element 114 is connected to the protective body 112. For this purpose, the protective body 112 has a slot 116. As can be seen in particular with reference to FIG. 7, one end of the connecting element 114 is guided through this. Since the outer sides of the connecting element 114 in a preferred embodiment have a hook-and-loop fastener or the like, the connecting element 114 can be formed as a loop, as shown in FIG. 7, and thus easily connected to the protective body 112.
In the illustrated embodiment, the protective body 112 has a recess 118. The recess 118 is located opposite the slot 116 or is located in winding or fastening direction of the band-shaped connecting element 114. When attaching the connecting element 114, this can thus be inserted into the recess 118, wherein then the free end of the connecting element 114 with the with Protective body 112 connected end 120 and in this region of the band 114 is connected.
FIG. 8 schematically shows a connection of a front wheel to a frame with the aid of the fixing element shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. This may be, for example, the fixation of the front wheel 28 on the top tube 36. For fixing the protective body 112 between the front wheel 28 and the top tube 36 is arranged. Subsequently, the band-shaped connecting element 114 is guided over both the front wheel 28 and over the top tube 36, wherein for fixing the free end of the connecting element 114 is connected to the arranged on the protective body end 120. In particular, due to the connection of the connecting element with the protective body 112 and due to the provision of Velcro fasteners, a simple fixing and also a simple release is possible.
For packaging the bicycle is first a pre-assembly, so that the rear wheel 14, the fork 110 and the stem 22 are mounted. All provided on the handlebars 24 components such as shifter, handles, etc. are also mounted including the connecting elements such as the Baudenzüge, the hydraulic clothing and the like. The bicycle handlebar 24 is merely not connected to the stem 22. For packaging, the bicycle fork is rotated in the illustrated embodiment, so that the stem 22 points to the rear. Subsequently, the bicycle saddle 34 is fastened, for example, in the region of a fork bridge of the fork 20 by providing a fixing element 30. The bicycle saddle could also be fixed to the seat tube 32 or other parts of the frame 12 as well.
The bicycle handlebar 24 is in turn fixed by means of fixing elements 30, for example, on the top tube 36 or optionally additionally on one of the two fork legs.
Further fixing of the front wheel 28 takes place in the illustrated embodiment by means of two fixing elements 30 on the one hand on the top tube 36 and on the other hand on the seat post 12. The fixation is again with the aid of fixing elements 30. The fixation is such that a Aufstandpunkt 46 of Front wheel 28, with which the front wheel rests on the bottom 50 of the outer carton 10, is deeper than a bottom of the chainring 48. This prevents damage to the chainring 48 during transport avoided.
After fixing the front wheel 28, the handlebar 24 and the saddle 34, the bicycle together with these components is a unit. It is thus a simple handling possible. The thus pre-packed bike can be made, for example, from above into the outer carton. It is here a twisting, tilting and the like avoided. The arrangement of individual bicycle components after the bicycle frame is already arranged in the outer carton 10 is not necessary. In this respect, for example, a scratching of the frame is avoided by subsequent insertion of a wheel in the outer carton. To set the prepacked bicycle in the outer carton 10, the lower rear wheel 52 and the uprising element 106 are arranged in this. The rear wheel 14 is inserted into the slot 70 of the lower rear wheel receiving element 52. The ends 110 of the bicycle fork 120 are inserted into the recesses 108 of the uprising element 106. Subsequently, the small parts carton 55 is placed in the recess 72 of the lower rear wheel receiving element 52 and then arranged the upper rear wheel 54 such that the rear wheel 14 in turn in the slot 70 and the small parts box 55 is disposed in the recess 72.
Further, the stem receiver 92 is arranged such that the stem 22 is disposed within the holding member 96. Since the widths A of the two rear wheel receivers 52, 54 as well as the stem mount 92 and the uprising element 106 correspond to the inner clear width of the outer carton 10, the bicycle is secured against slipping sideways. The arrangement of the rear wheel 14 in the slots 70 and the arrangement of the dropouts 110 in the recesses 108 is such that slipping of the bicycle in the longitudinal direction of the outer carton 10 is avoided. In this respect, the outer carton now only has to be closed and can be shipped via parcel services.
